Random camping and fishing

Hey all,

We are looking to get away this weekend and do some camping along the forestry trunk not too far from Calgary. We usually go to the waiparous area, but to be honest the fishing isn't great and we dont have a quad to get into Margaret lake. Is there anywhere fairly close to Calgary along the forestry trunk road we can random camp (Away from most people) and fish some ponds/lakes?

Not really, peppers lake but the ftr in every direction is over run with the annual ditch gypsy infestation . I have a few secluded spots but from the mess the rest of the random campers leave ..not a chance . Good luck on you quest. leave it better than you found it.
