Im heading to Kananaskis for a few days and would like some advise on where a good place to do some fishing.
And what type of lures to use.
I've only got limited time there so I want to make the fishing trip worth while.
I have a small boat with electric and gas motors

Thanks in advance

upper and lower kananaskis (be sure to read the regs carefully). I'm not an expert on them but if I had a boat and spinning gear I'd be trolling big spoons (livetargets and williams wablers) for bulls, or casting medium sized spinners in the shallows early morning for cutties.

If you're interested in hiking into lakes, try Rawson. again, read the regs carefully. small lures for cutties here.

Upper or Lower
One any better than the other?

If you want to maximize your opportunities, make sure you are fishing 45min on either side of sunrise and sunset.

I like spoons the size of my hand run along the bottom.
