Hi: A buddy of mine works as a firefighter and tells me they use this stuff in all their small gasoline engines to stabilize fuel and improve cold starts

I've revived 2 outboards and the kids dirtbike with seafoam. Its great stuff. The outboards didnt want to start at all and the dirtbike was running pretty rough. It was like a tune up in a can.

Watch the CT flyer, they have it on @ 20-25% every few weeks.

Can this be used on 2 stroke outboards and ice augers?

If you look on line some lund gas gauges have had problems with SeaFoam, ie it changes the density of the gas enough that the float in the tank no longer floats and sinks giving a false empty tank reading.

I do not know for sure if they put it into the gas I got while in Lac La Ronge but I had exactly that same problem when I got gas there. It would start off reading full then bounce on a couple of waves and you were at half a tank, a few more waves you were at a quarter of a tank.

When I used up all that gas problem was gone and has not come back.

Yep, use it with every tank in the ice auger, cleans and stabilizes.

I also use it.

The only con is when you run it through the vacuum lines and first start using it you will have more smoke coming out of your tail pipe that an 80's bingo hall on a Friday night.

Once it has cleaned the system and injectors there is really no more smoke.

I don't use it on my outboard nor small engines as I run premium fuel (no Ethanol) and they start right away.

Sea Foam is worth the money spent on vehicles.

If you are concerned about ethanol in the fuels fill up at Centex Petroleum stations or use the Startron Fuel treatment.

Yup, I bought a boat last year that has a mercury three cyl two stroke engine. Once I got it running, it had a bad habit of powering down after a few minutes of full throttle running. It got a good dose of sea foam and after a while it runs as it should.

Yup...Use it for my Outboard and my ice auger....Also, started using it in my lawn mower this year....Great stuff....When I started using it, I took my carb apart on my 1965 Mercury and it was so clean....Whistle clean...LOL

All my two stroke motors run it(auger, lawn mower, boat, chain saws, etc.) . I put a can in my boat every time I fill. Does wonders for outboards that have been sitting for a while. Restored 2 outboard motor with it, both were running groggy and chewed through gas like you wouldn't believe, and plugs would come out gummy. ran a full tank of gas through with heavy doses of this stuff before changing plugs. They were like new motors. Burn nice and clean now and sip gas rather than guzzle. Those motors were sitting for two years, and I didnt do much to them other than new fuel, run this stuff through and swap the plugs.

I tried it in the kids honda atv and it seemed to clear the sputter and idle issue. May dump a can in the tank of the daily driver, it has over 300,000 kms so maybe it will clean out some junk.

Wifes Jeep had a hesitation. Dirty fuel system. I never drive it till its broken. A can of seafoam and a air filter and a hard drive down the highway. Fixed. :sHa_shakeshout:

Made by Elves living in a magical land where everything run's impeccably. Brought to earth by Angel's. Quite possibly formulated by the Almighty himself!:)

Great stuff!!!

As he said.
Love the stuff. Has helped me bring a few small engines back to life with minimal effort.

Works great, I pull the spark plugs and spray it right into the cylinders and let it sit a couple hours. Then take my boat down to the launch and run it through the entire RPM range. Then I pull the air cleaner, run the boat in gear at mid rpm and spray it right down the carbs untill the engine bogs, shut the boat down and let it work its magic for 15 minuits, then start it up again and give er hell. The plugs will be fouled at this point so I change them, do this yearly and you will see a big improvement in how well your engine runs.

Use it a lot. Dump a can into my boat tank every spring. Lawnmower, quad, snowmobile and generator all get it as well.
