been away from the local news for awhile. Is Pigeon lake still safe or is there an algae Bloom on yet, Hoping to go fill my tags in a couple days..

Bloom is on but doesn't mean you can't fill a couple tags

And the walleye are still safe to eat??

It is safe to eat the fillets.
The fish store the toxins from the algae in their livers so just don't eat the whole fish like the commercial fisherman on Whitemud creek and you should be good.
