beaver mines fishing.

hey all looking to do a family trip to the mountains this weekend for some fishing. I was just wondering how the fishing at beaver mines has been? reports would be awesome thanks in advance

Was there 3 weeks ago. Fishing is horrible. Tried everything. ..dry flies nymphs rappalas only 2 small fish in 3 days. Too many people keeping fish these days. Grew up in Pincher. ..used to be a great lake. Scenery is always worth it but don't expect any fish.

Also lock up your stuff at night. They are stealing kids dingys and life jackets and anything else not locked up tight.

It just keeps getting busier up there. We were there 2 weeks ago but the campground was full. If you haven't reserved a site, good luck getting one. There was one site left and it was a "reservation only" site, which you need to book online. If you don't know this before you go it poses a problem since there is no cell service up there, so you have to drive back to Beaver Mines Store until you get a signal. Same thing at Castle Falls and Castle Bridge, 10 sites left on a Friday night but only by reservation. We ended up at Castle Bridge after driving back to book it online.

Sorry, can't help with the fishing but the bank was lined with people when you pull into the lake and also along the Table Mountain shoreline.
