Electric motor in front

Was thinking of rigging up some kind of control where I could mount my electric motor to the front of my inflatable pontoon. Minnekota has a wireless but I believe it can only be used with Minnekota motors.
Anyone ever make something like this?

I just put a swivel on my seat, and swung around when using the electric

Mine also swivels, but I would rather face forward and not have to be swiveling my sore shoulder (arthritis) around back of me. We were talking to Dale down at The Sportsmen's Den, and he was telling my hubbie about a friend of his that set up one like this. Apparently it's more energy efficient for the motor I believe, and I could just hang mine down in front of me instead.
