Anyone know if Stoeger has a Edmonton/ Alberta dealer?

Cheack WSS or SIR. I believe both carry some of the Stoeger shotguns.

Just wondering did your Stoeger break. My brand new Model 2000 is suffering from a brocken extractor pin after about a dozen times out. Not so happy with it anymore. I took mine back to Wholesale where I bought it, I hope to see it by next season.

I bought a new Stoeger 2000 at a DU auction in April. I'm on my second one now and it broke hunting ducks in New Brunswick. The first one was packed without grease and was heavily rusted when it arrived. Even the choke tube was seized in. The second one arrived without the DU engraving in the receiver, they didn't return my calls or e-mails so I gave up chasing them. I followed the break in recommended in the manual, but it still took a dump.

I was shooting Federal Black Cloud out of it, and apparently they have a little more oomph then the Kent shells I was using. The bolt was striking the back of the receiver causing a gouge to form in the receivers aluminum. I think this also interrupted the guns firing cycle as my extractor ended up failing on the second morning of my hunt. The finish also bubbled wherever it got wet.

The gun has a lot of potential, with the Binelli Inertia Action, but Stoeger has to up it's quality control before I buy another.
