View Full Version : Fishing Kyuquot - Pic Heavy

Fished the Kyuquot Sound with my father in-law on the weekend. The staff at Rugged Point Lodge got us on tons of fish, served world-class meals in their paradise lodge nestled in the cove community. Biggest fish kept was my 60lb. Hali. A great two-day harvest and a ton of memories. Lots of bi-catches including mud sharks, skates, sticklebacks, cod and copper rockfish.

Saw humpback whales, sea otters, sea lions, porpoises, coho attacking birds at the surface and of course up close with eagles.

I have also fished there, I used Murphys Sportfishing , but still the place is breath taking, Being way out in the wilderness, and also having top notch fishing to boot !

If your trip was as good as mine was, sounds like you had a great time !

Looks like a blast. I was wondering where my neighbor was. Lol. Looks like our yards are finally getting done. Have to have a pop in them once they are done.

Well what do ya know! Yup that explains where I was and yes finally we have some landscaping going on. Great to come home to a little top soil in the yard. Fire up the BBQ and fryer with the fish and some pops.
