Battle River resevoir near Forestburg

Looking for some info on the resevoir. Is it safe for boating and wheeee can you launch? Hows the fishing been? Thanks for your help.

There's a launch in Big Knife Provincial Park, just upstream of the resevoir. You can use your boat there, just stay away from the shore because of shallow water. If you want to fish, you really don't need a boat. You can fish under the bridge on the highway, or at the entrance to the power plant. This time of year expect it to be very weedy. Lots of pike to be caught though. The bridge on the highway to Big Knife would be your best bet.
