Was there 2 weeks ago and I couldn't keep them off. Water isn't too bad.

It has slowed as are most lakes at this time of year. The heat has them being way more lethargic. Many undersized fish.

I don't know about Marie lake.... but you can often catch large fish on those hot summer days trolling crankbaits over deep water. The fish will be suspended around the thermocline or where most comfortable as shown by your sonar. Once you find them the fish really aren't lethargic. They'll chase very large crankbaits. Warm temps increase metabolism and I think they are on the chew if oxygen concentrations are adequate. If oxygenation falls then fish are definitely sluggish.
