Gonna take a run out to cow lake to see if we can't scare up some of these 14-16lbs pike I keep seeing on the net and people texting pics of them to me!!! Anyone else headed that way?

Well 4 hours of fishing and was able to scare up 10- 5 pounders. Has anyone else had any success with larger pike in this lake?:test:

Thanks for the info. Is that a pretty quiet lake? Are motors allowed? Sorry, don't mean to hijack this thread

Yes seems to be a quiet lake. Motors are allowed. As far as perch are concerned I'm the wrong guy to ask. I don't target them. But I did see other boats targeting the perch. Couldn't say on sizes.

Has anyone been to Cow Lake in the last while? Was wondering how the fishing has been and how is the water?

Thinking this may be the spot for my holidays in Sept after the long weekend. Wondering if anyone knows if one can get a site that's away from the mainstream and have ones' boat visible from camp? I've heard there is a lot of thieving going on at camp sites this year. I don't have a fancy boat or gear but I worked hard for all of it and it's paid for:):)
