Last chance

So, I booked my holidays for after the long weekend and I have spent literally hours on the web trying to find information on different lakes. Last attempt is here. lol
Fortunately, most lakes won't be too busy since the wee folk will be back in school and folks are back to work.
What I am trying to find out is;

-which lakes are clean/algae free and fish edible?
-have campsites that I can park my boat close and it's visible from my site?

I have been considering Wolf Lake but it's a ton of gravel.

Suggestions? Oh, of course fishing is imperative!!

Where are you located and how far are you willing to drive?

sorry I should have put that. I live in thorsby. Willing to drive maybe 2 hours.. For an ideal place further .thank you
