Anyone started snaring coyotes yet? I've had some bait out in a few spots, just waiting for the deer season to be done, probably hang some snares next weekend.
I'll keep you posted...:p

My trapline partner got home from school last night and went out to check "his" 3 snare's that are 1/4 mile from the house. He come screaming into the house "I've got one" and took off so fast that I had to find my own way out to where he was. I sat back and watched as he worked to bring this varmint to the shop.

What are you feeding them things... That's a huge coyote. :D Any idea how old he might be?
Once again, good work. I finally hung a few yesterday. I only wish it was a 1/4 mile away.

I'm not sure how to age a coyote so I'm not willing to guess it's age [I'd be wrong and you know what happen's when someone is wrong on this board]. The 43 1/2 pound three legged coyote I called in Oct 29th was 1 mile away from this one [so I'm thinking the gene pool may have something to do with it]. As for feed all the nice deer hunter's who take those never fail heart shot's have fed them pretty good around here.
