He got a clear picture of the boat license number so they should have been caught. Pretty clear evidence from the video and picture.

If you read through the comments you'll notice that the (MNR) Minister of Natural Resources in Ontario is investigating. More to follow on this one I think. :)

I've fished the St Lawrence and it's lakes and, sadly, there are people that think the only good musky or pike is a dead one. I would compare it to people that throw suckers in the bush or leave burbs on the ice here in Alberta.....maybe even what many think about coyotes.....kill them all!

I don't condone doing it at all, I'm just trying to put things in perspective for people that have never lived there so don't shoot the messenger. :scared0018:

Same thing as the mounds of burbot left on the ice. When I was a kid every large lake In alberta had mounds of ling piled up. Only difference is it was and I think still is legal to do. The older crowd will remember the ling mountians. Hope they nail the arse!!!

Lived in Morrisburg right on the St Lawrence river don't know of and never heard of anyone that would have wasted a Muskie or Pike.

Agree completely. The regs state a limit of 10...yet if you caught 50 and left them all on the ice and didn't keep a single one that would technically be legal....

Burbot have a place as feed for other fish like pike and walleye...several times filleting fish I have found burbot in their bellies.
