Wab or Ste Anne??

Anybody been to wab or ste anne lately?
has the fishing picked up?

I went to both places a few weeks ago and it was really slow, just debating on which lake to go this weekend.

Was out at wab in Tuesday, hard time locating fish at first. Ended up watching the birds and found the fish chasing the big bait balls of tiny minnows. We saw some really big pike come out of the water when the bait was coming up to the surface They were holding on the hills on the drop offs. Bad success with white x raps in the 23 feet of water every pike I caught was spitting up tiny minnows. It was tough to locate he fish at first but once we did has success with the little ones. Water temperature has dropped alot so I was surprised to find them that deep.

The bite was back on for us on Ste. Anne last Sunday if that helps. They were biting pretty gently tho.

Was out at wab tuesday as well, was slow. Only landing four, largest was about 8 lbs. Stayed on the east side. Anyone have any idea if the lake has turned over yet?

ste annes always hot! last weekend got 60 in 3 hours with pops!
