My Dad had a stroke in July - he is doing well on recovery - expecting near full recovery.
However, I was doing some thinking. Dad is going to miss out on this year's hunting season, but where could we go fishing in the spring / summer?
I've realized that Dad, my brother, and myself haven't done any outdoor stuff as just us guys for quite a few years - to be quite honest, I kinda miss those times growing up when it was a weekend of just the boys and Pappy.
My brother has a larger boat, so a big lake is no real issue, but is there a spot we've likely never been where we could just relax, spend some time, BS, drink a little?
You know....quiet, rent a cabin for a week, but not have to worry about meals, cleaning - that incidental stuff? Don't really need a guide as we've done quite a bit of fishing in the past, but wouldn't turn it away.
We all enjoy, walleye, pike, & perch fishing. Musky has never really been tried for, but we've caught.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
