I resently returned from a week long annual trip to the south sask river. The fishing was slower than in previous years. Most notible was a 25" walleye and my personal best 21" sauger. We decided to stop on the way home at my favorite walleye lake for the day. I ended the day having landed 4 walleye at 28", a 29" walleye and a 30" walleye as well as some smaller ones.

Very healthy looking slabs, looks like they are putting on the feed bag for the winter, thanks for the pics...gotta love hungry fall eye's!!!

Might head out that way this weekend. I have a boat so can anyone recommend the best way to get into a beast like that?
