I heard about the big storm headed my way so I hit the river for probably the last fishable day this season yesterday. Started off slow, after the last couple big moon nights and the coming storm I wasnt sure anything would bite at all. after the sun broke out I ended up with 5 white suckers, 1 silver redhorse, 2 walleye and 4 pike.Last fish of the season I caught on a little 5 1/2 foot graphite baitcaster I have only used once or twice, had it for 20 years :) Almost pulled my arm off when it hit turned out to be a fat 18 pound pike, got to love the fight river sharks put up! Awesome way to end the season. Found the lure I caught it on in the river this summer :sHa_shakeshout:

hah I thought about running her up to Newell and dropping her in, that way we would have 8 big pike to fish for this winter :bad_boys_20: cant wait for it to freeze over but hopefully we wont have as much snow this season.
