I second that, I cam back for North of Nordegg yesterday and every body of water I saw didn't have anything worthy of calling Ice on it.

Maybe the boys way up north have hit some lakes.

Give it a week or two at -10 or colder, just to be safe. Myself, looking forward to hitting a little trout pond for some trout for the smoker. End of Nov. weather permitting. Hopefully it stays below -10 for the next week or two.

Too bad there is no salmon around these parts, except store bought. ( Too pricey )

There's enough ice on a few of the shallow southern lakes. Froze over around 4 days ago now, great ice building weather.

Probably only on the inlet and outlet sections. The main lake probably has some open spots left still.

I was out for a few hours today, SE of Calgary no fish but someone ate one of my minnows. I was on a bit over 3 inches of nice clear ice. just be careful out there

We have been gaining about a half inch of ice per night.There was about 2.5" of good ice today when I started feeding,hopefully we can get 3 inches by tomorrow morning and I can get the feed shacks out

I was out by Keho on Thursday afternoon. There were guys on the ice in the canal. I didn't see anyone on the lake. I am sure this cold weather has made good ice on it.

Ste Anne's probably too big to have thick enough ice right now...I'm hitting east pit on the weekend so if it stays cold for the next week ste anne should have at least 4 inches by the weekend as long as you stay relatively close to shore

Chestermere , east of Calgary had 8" good ice 50 ft from shore Sat 15 th.
Seems frozen all the way across, but should give a couple weeks before headed over deep water,,,
Two hours my son and I had 2 about 3 lbs for photos and release
