Was out in the cypress hills today and found where a cougar killed and stashed a deer. This is the first time I've seen cougar sign out there.

Might not see many like that, or maybe lots if cougar populations continue to grow. Thanks for sharing.

Why Mulies?
It is documented that where mule deer go cougars follow, they share a lot of the same habitat. Kind of like the life cycle around grouse and lynx.

When I was down there for the first week of November , I talked to a rancher who hound a elk kill and put a trail cam on it and there was 6 different cats feeding on it . He showed me the pics of it , was very cool to see . This was outside the park !
