Moose licking the TIC's off its right hip

might have been licking tics a week ago,stone cold dead yesterday.

Any evidence as to why it's dead Nait ???

It looks like she died of old age.

I was going to say it looked like quite an old cow.. Oh well the coyotes and ravens have to eat to I guess...

I wonder how many moose actually make it die of old age...not many I suppose.

She was found very near a trappers cabin and the lack of predators nearby might explain the longevity.
