Has anyone been out to sturgeon, swan or snipe lately?

Normally it's good to walk on sturgeon by now, hard to tell with this snow though,

I fished One island 2 weeks ago and there was 7" then, chatted with a guy that had been to Sturgeon the week before and he said there was 3-4". I would bet that every lake, with the exception of Lesser Slave, is fishable right now. Obviously it would be safe to stay closer to shore and away from any flowing water. I was thinking of Snipe this weekend, maybe try for some whites.

Thanks :) snipe is normally a little patchy in early season. Let me know what it's like
