Buffalo lake ice

Anyone know how thick the ice is at buffalo lake near stettler thanks

We were out yesterday off of Pelican Point and there was about 6 inches of clear blue ice. Not much for snow cover.

First trip out checking all my wife's new gear, new auger, sled etc so not much fishing. This year my wife will be joining me for the first time in over 20 yrs so I want to make sure everything for her is right. Have a short list of items to pick up for her. If you see a couple on a Honda quad with tracks pulling a calf sled drop by.

Next weekend the serious fun will start.

I was out at Rochon Sands today. Ice was about 6". There were a couple trucks on the ice, I wasn't brave enough to attempt it though and decided to walk on. Caught a couple pike. Good start to the season
