This wknd for trout. Does anyone know how
Close I can get to these lakes with the truck?

You can drive right to Phyllis (and on to it when the ice is thick enough) and the parking area at Birch is not that far from the lake either. Have fun!

Anybody know what the ice is like at birch or yellow head?

Was out a strubble 2 weeks ago had about 4 inches of ice, trout fishing was good. You can park at the lake I would expect the other lakes in the are good as well.

I was out at Burnstick yesterday, 10" of good ice. I think Birch will be the same

you can drive right up to phylis lake theres a hill you need to climb on the way out and a 4x4 would be a safe bet .struble lake is easy to get right up to the lake very easy and the fishing has been good..good luck
