i was checkin the weather today and was happy to see so nice cold temps for the weekend which hopefully dragg into next week. wont be long now till our fav lakes will be frozen and ready to go.

Ya supposed to be -23 on Sunday. Cant wait to get out on the bigger lakes.

I heard that there was some shacks on Newell, so I went to see for myself and sure enough, I seen two shacks, one guy fishing that walked on and one truck on the ice next to a shack. Couldn't believe it till I seen it. I was there mid last week and there was only about 2 inches. I don't recomend driving on yet but maybe after next week if the forcast stays the same.
