I see people ice fishing it from time to time. I'd be careful though as it is aerated

Oh, I didn't know it was airated , didn't. See any airater in the summer, just looking for a close pond to fish on tomorrow

The aerator is the box out in the center of the pond as far as I know. I'm sure you'd be fine if you stay in the corners.
Other than that I've had good luck at Windsor for trout and it's not too far from lacombe. Or either chains or Magee for pike

You can ice fish it, fish on the other hand are not for eating. I go there in the winter time with the kids for fun.
