Anyone ever use these? On what? They seem too big for perch and I am no trout expert so I don't know if they are any good for trout either.

I have a few in my tackle box and I stopped to wonder why I have never used them.

Any suggestions?

I've used the smaller sizes for trout before, tipped with a mealworm. Seemed to work pretty good and outfish everything else in my box

Please send all unused foxies to me.

Use them all the time,

it's a jig, how wrong could it be.

Love em In the smallest size for a drop shot rig for perch .they rock for walters I rip the head off a minnow and thread on to hook.

i used those specifically for perch whites and rainbows. for perch i tip it with a few red maggots or white plain maggots. white fish i bounce it on the bottom and short quick jigs. for rainbows i was catching them from shore by just casting with an ultra light outfit and small jigging motions while reeling in. takes patients but caught a nice football rainbow this year.i love that jig.

I have used that exact one pictured before on pigeon lake, lucked out and landed a rather decent white on it back in 2008... had it tipped with some maggots.

It was the only one I landed with this lure, have tried many times since and still yet to catch another white on it, Walleye on the other hand nail it hard. Lost a few of them to the walters.

I've had mediocre success with it for lakers. I have other jigs that are more productive but I'll throw one on every now and then if the bite is slow. I've tied a stinger hook on and use a smelt tail for bait.

I have a couple sizes in my box and have tipped with smelt or minnow if walleye or perch fishing.
If we are ever out there and not going for pike you may see me pull one out of the box.
