Here's probably an unusual post. I am wanting to spend some extra time with my 7 year old son, apart from my two daughters. Do the father sone thing more often. He was out with me hunting once or twice this fall for grouse and had some luck, but now that the season is over I am wondering if there are any trappers out there within about 2 hrs of Edmonton that would be interested in taking my son and I along while checking traps for a few hours this winter? someone to explain what trapping is about and why, show how the traps are set, etc.
I dont know much about trapping but would like him to see what its about. We both have spent plenty of time on snow machines and quads if that helps.
