I suspect the Ion would be somewhere in that range as well. Ion claims about 40 - 24in holes.

Ion works out to about 960", SM 1024".

The best thing for Eskimo's Ion Electric .......... is competition ....... now both companies will continue to develop and improve their products.

Looks like another good option for those who want to go electric. It would certainly be convenient ..... but the jury is still out for long term exposure to batteries all day in the cold.
