MacGregor walleyes...

spent the last couple of hours of daylight on MacGregor hoping for some Walleye. I managed 4 small pike and 2 walleyes! 3 pike came on the jig and minnow on the deadstick and the other pike and both walleye were caught on the Kamooki SmartFish in perch pattern...

Cool... so thats a smartfish. First I've seen of them looks like a nice jigging lure.

there was 11 inches of ice where I was at.

I wasnt using bait with the SmartFish.

The SmartFish is working well through the ice but is also deadly trolled or by casting. When the field testing was being done at wabamun and pigeon lakes over the last couple of years trolling and casting proved to be very effective regardless of the pattern. I'll be trying out the yellow tiger and orange tiger patterns on boxing day. Also having some luck on the herring pattern
