Going to be in Edmonton for boxing day and want to go look for some new ice fishing goodies. Has anyone been to Cabela's on boxing day and how are the prices on rods, etc.?

Cabelas sales? Pfffft! There sales equate to 10 bucks off regular pricing...even the bargain cave is a Joke

The Fishin' Hole sales actually provide some significant discounts.

The way I look at it ....

Wholesale has the best selection and most terminal tackle, hard to find items etc...

Cabela's has more clothing, 3 isles of scented rubber baits, lots of Bass and Catfish supplies and some pretty good camping stuff.

Fishin' Hole has the best service and the best sales discounts but the least variety of products

Regular prices are about the same everywhere .....
