Fishing extremely slow today?

I hit up Gull at two normal hot spots then Battle to a spot where it's usually a fish buffet and very little. Anyone else experience anything similar in Central AB? I must have popped 40 holes trying to locate fish. I'm wondering if it was the cold weather/snow front that pushed through that put them in a negative or neutral feeding mood.

It's been slow for me up at Calling lake this weekend. I was wondering the same thing. A few perch but no walleye yet.

Very slow today on chip lake, I was with four others and we fished for 4hrs and only caught 6 hammer handles, very slow for chip, maybe something to do the cold front that's coming this way?

7 good pike at yellow lake today anyone heard any news about Cavan it was real good the year before last.

We got skunked at Blood Indian Sat 2s 7hrs on the ice. It seemed like others were not having much luck either as another group of 4 or 5 near us managed 2 small ones.

Sitting on chain lakes today with a few buddies. Zero bites, no nibbles. Very slow and she is getting cold . Only a few other tents out here

Cavan is done for the season for me took nothing but 2-3 pounders two winters ago saw 4inchers lots of shrimp a sucker noooooooooo! And got a visit from a muskrat this morning don't know who was more surprised !!!!! But that's me for Cavan shame it needs to be left alone for a couple of years I think.

We seen alotbof whitefish on Gull yesterday. No takers. Had one perch come in all morning.. must have been 10 inches. Had three pike steal wire worms.

Then.. from 2pm -11pm... we slayed pigeon lake. Three tubs of minnows gone.

I was at Lac la nonne yesterday and Pigeon today. Both days I was seeing a TON of activity on the sonar. Both days my sonar was lit up like a Christmas tree but absolutely nothing would bite. I tried different hooks, different baits and nothing.

I am a believer in the solunar calendar and right now it's showing animal activity as super low. It doesn't pick up again until next Friday.

no walleyes at macgregor yesterday. just a few hammer handles on jig and minnow az well as a couple on the Kamooki SmartFish Natural Shad pattern. strong north wind cant be good for fishing imo
