I've been eying up Saskatchewan for a few years now for an ice fishing trip...and it looks like I may have enough time off next weekend to make it happen.

Never fished out there before.

Have cameras and flashers, and all gear needed to spend a few days out there.

Ideally would like to target whites and perch, but we'll take whatever comes out.

Have been suggested Lake Diefenbaker.

Does anyone have ANY advice they can throw my way for location, and/or preferred methods? More than willing to share a few hot AB spots in return.

Thanks!!

Meadow lake PP has great fishing in several lakes for Walleye and Pike, or if you are after lake trout i know Anglers Trail resort at Lac la Plonge will give you use of a hut when you rent a cabin from them.

Last Mountain Lake near Rowans Ravine Prov. park. North near the Collingwood development. Look for all the shacks.
