Hit up Badger today, fished 10-3. 5 or so bites, only landed 1 pike. Chubby guy we let go.

how is the ice thickness ? thinking of headed out there this weekend

just got back its about 15", roads are kinda slickery and at this moment is blizzard conditions. fished there about 8am till around 2pm ish while i had two hits and lost something big only hooked it for like 5 seconds with a light hook set cause i forgot what lb test line i had on lol. buddy got a few light hits from tiny perch and then we got blown off the lake with 47km winds. froze our nackers off. any pop up type tents like the ice cube required additional anchoring to hold it down and keep in one spot. huge ice heaves too

Any white fish been lately out of the lake?

slow bite yesterday once that system moved in, the fish were sloooow. seen lots of whites, but they weren't buying what we were selling, the perch were small and schetchy, Had a half dozen pike come up but they could barely had enough energy to open their mouths. Good thing we could stream a couple of hockey games :)
