Newbie Fisherman Needs Ice Fishing Lesson

Hi All,
I'm new to fishing in general, only ever caught one fish this past summer and want to try my hand at ice fishing. So essentially I am a raw beginner in my mid 30's.

I recently picked up a Eskimo Quick Flip 3 tent on Kijiji and want to plan my first trip.

I'm looking for partners to willing to show me the ropes fish and some advice on some lakes close to St.Albert with good fishing. I hear Lake Wabamum is ok?

My schedule is very flexible and can usually get out during the weekdays. Hoping to plan a trip around Jan 15th when I get back to St.Albert.

I am in Edmonton and am always looking for a fishing buddy. I have only fished Wabamun in the summer but I too want to give it a shot in the winter. PM me if you want to arrange something! I have a 2 man hut, power auger and all the other odds and ends we would need!
