I was supposed to go ice fishing this morning. but.... work decided to not allow me to run friday night due to the storm down south, which in turn forced me to run last night. The roads last night were fine last night.... but the cold air took its toll on my equipment. I had frozen air lines, frozen rubbers on the gladhands.... my no-slack was pi$$ing out air so bad i had to take vice grips and pinch off the line and limp it back after refueling in Nisku.
The grease in the jaws of my fifth wheel was so stiff, after unlocking it to unhitch......the jaws would not open and i had to have a on-call mechanic from work to come into the shop get a pump and spray up diesel into the jaws to soften up the grease.
Guess something was trying to tell me the fishing at Gull would be not so good and was trying to get me not to waste money on gas down there. LOL !!!
But dam*it....i still want to icefish. Maybe some evening pigeon 'eyes?
