well what a difference a hole makes

had my limit by 11am:47b20s0:

so Tim used my hole

He had 3 other holes he sat at and never saw much:confused0024:

sat in my hole and got 5 in a hour

3 young locals came in just as Tim got his 4th and they said

oh a Big One and Tim replied that's a little one I checked the scale it was 3#2 yep I said little :test:

showed them what hook I would use and how to jig it (no bait wire worm)

they put a 4#14 on the ice as we were leaving:sSig_welcome2:

2 Old Guys having a blast:sHa_shakeshout:

enjoy

David:)

Top notch! Whites go on a massive feeding binge post spawn before heading back into deeper waters. It is the best time to catch them at this time.

The actual spawn, not pre spawning activity, usually starts at first ice and ends right about now. Each lake is a little different, triggers are photo periods and, to a larger degree, water temperature.

They spawn shallow.

I envy you...I've had the odd very rare luck, but you're showing proven skill! Would you consider adopting? :-)
