Went out on Sunday to firstly test out the new blades for my hand auger (she cut through the ice like butter) and to check out the ice thickness. Only 6" inches (measured) with a few inches of snow on top. I thought there would be way more ice by now??? :huh: I'm a little dissapointed to be honest. Wanna start heading out onto the big lakes with the quad's. Hopefully by weeks end the ice will be a few inches thicker. :rolleyes:
