I have only fished it in summer wanted to try hard water there. I always launch at PP but I hear that is closed in the winter if that is true which is the best access point. ...thanks

I think its 633a off the highway. Then the first right.
Weve always had luck between the south side of the island and the shore.

Grew up on a farm couple miles away sometimes road in doesn't get plowed but we used to go in at Rod and Gun Club first launch then head straight south across lake in 14 feet water . might be able to access at Camp Mackinicolea (hard to spell church camp ) Good Luck. Let us know how u did .
