Chain lake report/newell?

anyone have any info on chain like ice thickness and fishing i think i wanna go out sunday or xmass,and anything for newell

Chainlakes South has been fine for a couple of weeks.
3 inches over a week ago.

On Sunday there was 6-8inches on Newell.

don't know what the ice is like but heard rumor that there is like 40 inches of snow at chain lakes would be intresting to find out though

It wouldn't surprise me with the wind they get there.
