How was your Saturday??

Just wondering how you all made out today? I went to lac st Anne to fill my tags. No luck two dink pike and one walleye that I could have taken, But wouldn't wast my tag on him.

Gull was on fire today for the perch and whites, three of us saw 26 whites and caught our limit, and we could not keep the small perch off our hooks for a good hour must have caught close to 50 of the damn things. Beautiful day to be on the lake.

meh....fished Badger today. Landed about 2 dozen pike, nothing over 70cm, lost a nice Burbot at the hole, couldn't find the walleye. Drilled 30-40 holes manually and the wind made the day less fun. I never got a chance to target any whites or perch.

Caught tons of perch today and over a dozen pike. The weather was the best part about the day, not a breath of wind and blue skies! :sHa_shakeshout:

fished near Calgary for a few hours with the lil ones and everyone caught 8 to 10 sharks today around 75 centimeters :) also 1 keeper walleye

Great weather and caught 20-30 walleye and same for pike out at wab. Biggest was only 30-32 inches but was still a good day.

Mind if I ask how deep and where (abouts) you were. I was out there today too and pulled in lots of keeper (10" +) perch and decent pike, but only saw 2 whites that weren't interested in my hook. Might go back tomorrow, so would like to bring home some whites. Also...what is the average size for whites in Gull? You're absolutely right...it was on fire today!

I limited out on whites today on the NW side by parkland beach in 6 to 7 feet water, lots if Finley perch also but managed 3 keepers as well,

I was out at "a" lake today(a lake between the bow river and the athabasca river)] and caught a few walleye, pike and for a treat some 12 inch perch.

You animal!!! I took the family to the motorcycle show. Almost had to buy a pw50 so I could get the boy home!

It was a geourgeous day, sounds like everyone had a stellar day out there.

Gull wasn,t on fire where we were, one keeper perch between my son and his friend in 2 hours of fishing. Was a gorgeous day to be on the ice though!

We were out on the west end of the lake fishing in 4-6 FOW. Good luck out there today! Tried everywhere today... was like someone turned off the switch last night on their way out, cuz Gull pretty much sucked today. Went alone yesterday and caught tons..brought my son today and nothing,. I felt bad for him, but he still had a great time.

Spent the day out at pigeon and between 3 of us we only caught 1 little walleye.

Three of us went out to La La Nonne, first time there. We set up in about 14 feet of water and were into the jacks pretty quick, all hammer handles. My daughter caught her first jack and when it came through the hole she exited left out of the tent and wouldn't set foot back in until it was back down the hole. We must of caught and released 2 dozen over all. Lost a burbot at the hole on a tip up I had set out.

Brother in law lost his i phone down the hole, I was telling him about the thread on here, and when we got parked on the lake I said my phone stays in the truck and so do my keys. Well he decided to call home....why I don't know, and as he set his phone on his lap, a jack smacked his jig he stood up and the phone went down the hole. You could see the apple logo and he tried to fish it out but no luck for him today. He fished that hole a little longer but looking at that apple forced him to go drill a different hole else where.

All in all it was a great time and my girl wants to go out again next weekend, so we'll be off on an adventure somewhere.
