I know there are a great deal of members from the Lethbridge area enjoying the day today.

Its the strangest weather day I can remember.

Its 20 degrees here and the wind is minimal. Just to repeat... its twenty degrees outside?!

I am having difficulty finding the weather record information for Lethbridge - it would seem to me today is going to blast the old record but would like to find out if it did.

From CTV Lethbridge's Facebook page:

"Another temperature record bites the dust. We just hit 18 degrees. The old record was 14 degrees set way back in 1906....Dory"

Did you just say minimal wind in Lethbridge? That might be some sort of record itself!!

Anything under 100 km/hr is hardly noteworthy in Lethbridge anyhow:thinking-006:

Probably has something to do with that asteroid that passed by. Or the wild rose.

January in the winter of 1980 was shirt sleeve weather in High River, don't know what the official temp was but I seem to recall it was pushing 20 degrees.

The old record of 14 degrees was set at the turn of the last century.

Was it global communist big government pinko warming then too?

Sheesh, make a comment about how nice of a day it is and the hippies pull out their chicken little costumes and try to sell me a Prius.
