My Dad and are heading out on Saturday. We used to hit up Wab every Sunday about 20 years ago but we have not ice fished either lake for a long time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've had better luck to CnR whites at Wab but if you catch them or find what they like at Lac ste Anne my bet it will be a slob! I was there last year and personally saw a 9LB white come out of ice by rod & hook not net.

We saw whites about 1 mile west of Burton Beach access on Lac St. Anne. They came by the camera one at a time every 15-20 minutes. Looked to be in the 4-5 lb range.

If it were me I would choose Anne, just because there you could keep some to fry up.

Lac stanne without a doubt,if you can solve those big whites.Ive tried and had some success late winter, but have had more bad days than good. But hey there's a shot at good quality fish in the 4-8 pound range, and can harvest one for the pan or smoker.

Thanks everyone! Looking forward to a cold snowy day on the lake with a couple lunkers flippin around. Gonna hit up Lac Ste. Anne and see what happens.

My dad caught that one, but only 2 pike after that. We heard a different group catch a couple perch, sounded like one of the guys got his on a tip-up. Slow day, but whenever you catch a perch like that its always worth it!
