The show after however was very intriguing.

I found the show Afterwards to be more interedting as well. Really cool actually.

The documentary in my op was of course oil focused. Some footage of the oil sands sites.
Talk of how many ppl don't get involved in community.
Said the municipality has the lowest voter turn out in all of Alberta.

it made me wonder if any temp workers care about Alberta.
Or is it just a pay check.
The latter seems to be the case for the most part.

There were some natives talking about the change in the fish that he's catching now. Blamed it on the oil companies.

Being removed from it all in edmonton, it's hard to comprehend that something so big is going on just 5 hours north.
Seems like it could be another country.

The doc didn't hold my attention.
Maybe the second time around it would.
