Looking at buying a 1991 Isuzu rodeo

Has anyone owned one, as I am looking for a beater as I do not have a work truck anymore due to layoffs, First time in 4 years. Would it tow my ski boat Larson 4.3 l merc.

it has a tow rating of 3500 lbs as far as the internet can tell me

if your boat weighs less than that i guess you'd be ok.

but even if it weighs 2500 with the trailer and gear that's pushing it in my opinion

I learned how to drive on one of those beasts. They are good little units but with only a 3.1 L V6 they are pretty weak. I'm sure it will haul a boat ok, just don't expect to pass anybody on the highway lol.
My mom was naïve enough to let me drive hers alone at the age of 16 and I can say they are pretty good at going off road and through snow :D

Just bought it really good shape runs good be better then taking the wife's flex out ice fishing and definitely won't let me put a deer on the roof:sHa_sarcasticlol: and only out $460 I'm thinking it will last a long time.

Have some happy rolling. Do what you can to inhibit rust and it should be a go'er.
