Just saying hi. I already know a lot of guys here, but will put a little bit about myself for those whom I don't know.

Name's Joe, live in Calgary. Regular job is Drilling consultant, but for spring break right now I am working the Archery dept. of the new Wholesale sports.
I have been bowhunting since I was knee high to a snake's belly in a wagon rut. Looking to buy my first rifle this year, and branching out a bit.

Getting excited about spring bear opening in 2more days, but the weather is gonna keep them sleeping for a bit longer I think.
I am always game for company on my hunting trips, so keep me in mind.

Yup. It opened last Thursday. In a nutshell, it looks a lot like the Edmonton store.
We are still pretty disorganized, and low on inventory in some sections, but still quite the store.

Hey fellas, where is this new store at??? Give er to me in english. ie; most all my trips townin are done off Mccloud trail. To me thats Calgary, get lost anywhere else{for the most part}.

Welcome to the board and i hopin to visit the new store pretty soon but im gunna a wait a bit more untill you guys get full inventory in there.

Pack if u want to get there when you are heading south on Macleod you will have to turn left(east) onto heritage rd, (which is by a CT train station, up to the left on a hill there is a Russell's sports, Winners, Big Als fish store) then when you come to the lights at Heritage and Blackfoot go straight threw them then at your first set of lights(there is a Wendy's, Timhorton's, Boston Pizza, Superstore there) hang a right and the store will be right there on your right.

Hey, coho. That trophy looks awesome on my mantle buddy. I have built a stand for it for next yr. I may have to send a pic. pretty nice. As far as the britt, the roosters better run. Shes drinkin the same stuff I feed the chainsaw. 40-1, no less, no more.

packhuntr , good idea on a stand for the trophy it will just look better on my mantle...not sure how you shoot clays...but if its like your roosters...I prefer mine to be in the air... I’ll be there!!! Hopefully be that way fairly soon. I need to finish working on a 243 load…

Coho, give us a call, I think skinny is prob due, pretty dry in those parts. Have a bit of work we have to do to the rge, let us know if ya want to come give us a hand. Some small odds and ends. Beer will be cold. As far as the roosters, ya take a couple on the run.... We will settle this on the rge.
