Hallmark holiday. I'm with the Frog on this one. Take care of things year round and valentines loses it's meaning.


And I have a hockey tourney at River Cree......

(strictly for those who are not "married"). A very viable and well researched (?) theory from a friend in the old "dating" days. One needs to break up with one's "winter wench" a week or so before Valentine's day, thus avoiding all the hassle and expense of such special expectations. Anytime thereafter, find a "summer wench". Keep her no longer than shortly before Xmas - break up - same rationale. Then immediately find a winter wench for the interlude until early February. If one is really clinical, look for wench birthdates that can also be avoided in the same sequence, or go to spring and fall wenches as well. And winter wenches can repeat as summer wenches (reconcile well after V-day), if the pickings are slim. I envisioned a "chart" on all this, with all the contingencies in footnotes, but...?
