Hello everyone,
I went out with my little brother today right beside yellowstone since I heard and read that is most definitely the place to catch pike and whitefish. Well we saw nothing! Camera showed no sign of life. No perch, walleye or pike. Anyone mind helping two desperate brothers out :)

I used to catch whites by the first set of reeds straight to the left off the launch at yellowstone in about 6-8 fow but haven't been out there for about 3 years.

So to the left you say? Is that left when you're driving onto the lake or looking at the map? I basically fished there and had not seen one fish so I have no clue what is going on.

Let us know if you find anything as I'd like to go out there this next coming week. I bet the snow on the ice now will make it hard to drive anywhere. :(

I was supposed to go today but my car is AWD and not 4x4. I want to go maybe this week, but home it won't turn into Gull lake with everyone.

It gets pretty busy there on the weekends, like a little Gull maybe! LOL! But it's a big lake so lots of room! I hope you catch lots! And pictures ok....

I typically fish the south shore of the lake, and when I last fished (this past Thursday) I seen whites regularly in 6-14' of water. The trick was they were all 2' below the surface so initially I wasn't seeing them on the camera...

Gold wireworm with a pink bead and 1 maggot seemed to work for me. There was a couple real hogs around as well.

Has Anyone been out there this weekend? I'm wondering how the snow is and if there is lots of tracks I can follow with my AWD Escape. I'm thinking of trying it out tomorrow (Monday). Anybody catching anything out there?...Any reports would be appreciated :)

Go off Alberta Beach. Head off from the island. Fish in about 12-14 feet of water. Bounce a small jig and minnow combo. They love there minnow there.

was there on Sunday with buddy and we got 10 pike with jig and minnow.......where the heck do you catch walleye in this lake :angry3: 3 attempts this year and 3 times with nothing but pike. Ive tried the island off alberta beach, alberta beach itself in front of the warf and the west side of the lake, any advice would be appreciated.

When you say go off the island do you mean the one that is about 3 km from the boat launch? To the right of the boat launch? That's the only one I see on the map.
