Upper and Lower Kananaskis Lakes

Just wondering if anyone has been out recently and if they can provide an update on the ice conditions?

Was at lower today, 9" or so, less as you get closer to the open water at the outer, think we were on around 6" for most of the day.

No fish for us or anyone else around, and just a couple on the flashers.

Hope you have better luck than us!

There were a few groups on upper, but we never checked the ice

I am going to assume the 9" - 6" was good ice.

Yes, good ice, with a couple inches of flood water on top so things are quite wet out there haha
