View Full Version : post your 1st fish
I don't know about you guys but I really look forward to icefishing season and always wonder what fish I am going to catch first. I have posted mine, not very big (about 12 inches) but my very first of the year from Sylvan Lake. I would like to see your first "ice fish" of the year. BEL

Maybe a keeper, but first fish of the season for me. I am looking forward to a week off at Christmas and chasing a big pike with my son. My luck, he will catch the big one this year, but hey if he caught it that would be okay too.

yes it is a 125lb. tuna caught in Nantucket Sound last fall. Amazing fighting fish and excellent eating.
Took Rey out icefishing for the first time. Within 5 minutes he caught his FIRST fish ever. He actually lost 2 others. Those bells are great for icefishing but you really have to concentrate once you hook one. BEL
